1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use CompliFind or create an account. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the account features. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
2. Independent information, not legal advice
CompliFind is an independent resource and is not affiliated with the Bureau of Indian Standards or any government body. We compile information from official sources and work to keep it accurate and current, but regulations change and errors happen. Always confirm requirements against the official notification before acting; nothing on the site is legal advice.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and give accurate details, including an email address you control.
- One person per account. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- Your username must not impersonate anyone or mislead others, and we may reclaim usernames that do.
- You can delete your account at any time from Account › Privacy & data.
4. Acceptable use
- Don't scrape, bulk-download or resell the database, or try to bypass rate limits or access controls.
- Don't create accounts automatically, in bulk, or with disposable email addresses to abuse free plans.
- Don't upload unlawful content or attempt to break, probe or overload the service.
5. Free and paid plans
Features available on each plan are described on the plans page. Paid plans run for the period purchased. Deleting your account ends any paid plan without a refund for the unused period, unless the law where you live requires one.
6. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk, and will tell you why where we lawfully can. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
7. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made solely on information from the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
8. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without depriving consumers elsewhere of the protection of their local mandatory law. Questions: complifind@gmail.com
